When we do headshots for a theatrical production, we work quickly to get through an entire cast in a timely way. If you’ve been part of it, you know we’re taking a variety of shots – different angles and expressions – so we have a good set to choose from for the theatre’s use in promotion (programmes, print media, social media).

As an offer for subjects that have been part of cast headshot sessions, we also sell individual headshots to cast members. If you’d like to purchase one or more headshots from your session, here’s what you do:

  1. If you’ve already got a link to the on-line proof gallery with all of your headshots from the session, great! The proof gallery has all of the shots from your session, with the super dodgy ones taken out. We do leave in all the super goofy faces I got you to make though. If you don’t already have the proof gallery, use the form at the bottom of this page and I’ll help you out.
  2. Browse the proof gallery. If you need help, instructions for using the proof gallery are here: https://imagesbyanderson.com/proofs.
  3. You ‘approve’ one or more of the images to order, and let me know. If you can’t choose, I nearly always have my favourites, so ask me for advice.
  4. I invoice you for each selection.
  5. I retouch your selections, and deliver them to you, with each image in colour and B&W, in both print- and web-friendly resolution. I crop them to 4×5 resolution (which is great for instagram, and prints to 8×10 inches). Generally I will crop in for the best headshots.
  6. All yours! Use them for casting calls, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn… anywhere you need a fantastic headshot.

Production headshots are $60 each. We keep these jobs active until two weeks after your production closes; after that, we archive the job away for posterity. Once two weeks pass after your production closes, headshots are $75 each.

If you’d like to come in to the studio for a full headshot session, or a dance portfolio session, we’d love to have you! Studio headshot sessions are an hour long, with multiple outfit changes, and you get way more time in front of the camera to get something perfect for you. Studio dance sessions are 120 minutes (or longer!!) and are pretty epic. If you’re curious, follow those links for info, and hit us up with the form at the bottom of the page!

If you do book us for a full headshot session or a dance portfolio session, and you’ve purchased production headshots up to 12 months beforehand, make sure to let us know; we’ll throw in an extra selection 🙂
