Foggy field

A few weeks ago, we had a very busy photography weekend, meeting with three clients for maternity and newborn shoots. I think the camera was fused to my hand!

As if three shoots weren’t enough, I suggested to my daughter one evening that we get up really early the next day, wander over to a nearby field, and take some pictures before the fog lifted. Sure enough, she woke me up the next morning, dressed, excited and ready to go! She’s definitely not camera-shy, and was willing to tromp through damp grass to get some nice pictures. What a trooper!

As much as I love visiting and getting to know clients, I really enjoy capturing nice pictures of our family. We don’t usually share them on the blog, but I love these, and I hope you do too.

The Hardwick family at Miami

We met up with the Hardwick family for an afternoon of mucking around at Miami Beach. (I felt like I’d spent the entire weekend there, after shooting a wedding party there the day before!)

Joanne, Ian and the kids had a great time goofing off for the camera. When you’ve got a perfect sunny day at the beach, what more could you ask for? Live music! A great covers band kicked off at the local pub, and youngest brother A indulged his inner rock god, posing for some serious rock-star photos.
