The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

What’s that? Photograph a production that covers everything William Shakespeare has ever done? As a three-hander? Yes please! Jessica Moore, Jordan Schulte, and the tag team combo of John Siggers and Marselan Wignall rocket the audience through everything you could ever want to know about Shakespeare but were afraid to ask.

PRIMA’s Spamalot

It’s been brilliant to work with the performers and production team behind PRIMA‘s Spamalot, appearing at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre from now until October 8. From headshots and rehearsal session through to the performance production run, these guys run a tight ship, and they’ve put together a brilliant production! Catch it before it closes!

When we deliver headshots from a headshot session that are intended to be candidates for the show programme, we usually deliver three images per person – a pleasant expression with no teeth, smiling with teeth, and… a goofy one. Headshot sessions aren’t very serious, and getting someone to do a crazy face is often a good way to relax them in to a more natural expression. We capture those crazy faces though, and deliver copies for fun along with the others. If you’re going to use the crazy faces for a programme, Spamalot is the right production 🙂

Mark Lombard Comedy

I had the opportunity to photograph Mark Lombard and his merry troupe of sketch comedy performers. Mark has assembled a pretty excellent group of people. It was a pleasure to work with all of them, and as always actors are super excellent to photograph… but extra excellent to finally meet James Tinniswood. James and I move in similar circles and it was one of those things where I can’t figure out how we haven’t actually met before. All of these performers have a great pedigree from Brisbane sketch and law revue performances, including their recent show Brisburn.
