Lara’s headshots

We do a lot of actor/performer headshots, so it’s fun to branch out and photograph someone else for a change! Lara is a copywriter, librarian, researcher, and general lover of academia – she blogs at Charming Language and has been known to speak at events.

Normally when I’m doing headshots, I have to rely on my natural charm and wit (cough) to relax the subject and get the best shots out of them. I had a secret weapon with Lara – her husband Darren is one of my oldest friends. So the question “What’s the dumbest thing Darren’s done this week” elicits a genuine happy smile from her. (I never did get the answer out of her though.)
