A few months back I grabbed a quick opportunistic portrait of musician and comedian Steve Mackay, and it’s become one of my favourite portraits. Thought we’d better get together to shoot a few more!

Kris’ work has received gold awards at international, national and state levels for professional print judging. Most recently he was recognised as the 2024 NZIPP Australian Professional Creative Photographer of the Year, and won a coveted 2024 Icon International Photography Awards Grand Award for In-Camera Artistry. Prior to that, Kris was awarded 2019 AIPP Queensland Professional Photographer of the Year. He has also won state and national titles for AIPP Professional Illustrative Photographer of the Year.
